Poetry to me is a form of liberation, enabling one to seek refuge within the sanctuary of words. I regard myself as a performance poet who does not intend to merely read poetry; but rather make every word on the page come alive. “Live every moment”. It is not my aim to fit in with other poets; my aim is to ensure that I plant a seed of thought in the audience’s mind. With each poem I conceive it is my intention to add more substance and depth than previous poems. I deem my audience as a focal part of my existence as a poet. “The value of an audience is not determined by number”.
